Redmi has finally launched the successor to the Redmi Note series which is the Redmi Note 9 Pro. This has been long-awaited by the audience and now that it is finally here, let's check what specifications it has to offer and what are the main highlights that will lead it to stand away from the competition.
Redmi Note 9 Pro Specifications:
Processor: Snapdragon 720G SOC(System On Chip)
Display: 6.67inch Full-HD+ IPS LCD 20:9 Aspect Ratio
Ram: 4GB|6GB
Internal Storage: 64GB|128GB
Rear Camera: 48MP(f1.79 aperture primary)|8MP(Ultra-Wide)|5MP(Macro)|2(Depth)
Front Camera: 16MP Punch Hole Camera
External slots: Dual nano sim card slots + dedicated external memory card slot
Operating System: Android 10 with MIUI 11 Custom skin
Battery: 5020 mAh Battery
Highlights:
The main highlights of the Redmi Note 9 Pro are the cameras. The quad-camera implementation at the rear is something new to the Note series. Another thing worth mentioning here is the fingerprint sensor is not at the rear, neither under the display. This time Redmi has done something different and gone for the side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The side-mounted fingerprint sensor is something that I'm not personally a fan of, as the positioning is a bit inconvenient. Apart from this, the display is truly gorgeous with a 20:9 cinematic aspect ratio and a small punch hole at the top for the front camera which is again a decent 16MP sensor. Another thing that holds it apart from the crowd is the 5020 mAh battery coupled with MIUI 11 and Snapdragon 720G, making this device the most efficient in terms of battery compared to some other devices in this price range. Lastly coming to the price, it is definitely priced very competitively keeping its mark below the 15k segment. This is like the cherry on top of the cake.
